Layered Kinks

Ep62 didn’t quite happen, but this is how we play Layered Kinks.

STARTING IN SEPTEMBER

If you have a pack of Layered Kinks cards, you control the game. Upload a card to Twitter, Instagram, or FetLife. Tag us and use the hashtag #LayeredKinks. We’ll pull YOUR cards and negotiate down to the final 3 for our next episode.

These are the rules that come with the pack, but there are so many alternatives.

HOW MANY DIFFERENT WAYS CAN YOU PLAY?

FIRST AND FOREMOST, use the deck as a discussion point. Go through each card and pull out the ones that are Hard Limits, and possibly Soft Limits.

  • Let’s Try It! Just like we do during our podcast, choose a kink that you’ve never done before, research it, and give it a whirl. Always keep risk and safety in mind, but enjoy the exploration.
  • 5 Card Deal! Shuffle the deck and give each person 5 playing cards. Take turns laying out the cards, face up, and build the perfect scene. You can either take turns until there are 5 cards on the table and then negotiate down to 3, take turns and build a scene with the first 3 cards you lay out, or turn up the volume and incorporate all 5 cards into one glorious scene.
  • Let’s Talk About It! Maybe you’re not ready to try it. Maybe you just want to get to know each other better. Spend time (a night, a week, a month maybe) going through each card and having a deep conversation. There’s no better way to build trust than to communicate openly and honestly. And remember: Don’t listen until you understand; listen until the other person feels understood.
  • Never Have I Ever! Take your pack of cards to your next party. Turn it into a drinking game and have a blast. Drink responsibly!

ARE WE MISSING ANYTHING?

Comment below on the various ways you can utilize this deck in your kink/BDSM life or to have fun with friends!

  1. Thanks to you that have purchased cards and given feedback, we found a mistake in our first set of cards. ESTIM is spelled ESIM, and the SENSORY PLAY card retained the PET PLAY definition.

In an attempt to correct that with round 2 of purchasing, our new deck of cards came in and ESTIM is now spelled ESITM because of course, right?!

Replacement cards have been ordered and will be shipped out as soon as possible!
